V&A Hollywood Costume Exhibtion
Curated by Deborah Nadoolman Landis, Hollywood Costume was a sold out exhibition hosted at the Victoria & Albert Museum celebrating over 100 of the most iconic movie costumes across a century of film.
The exhibition featured an immersive experience into the history of Hollywood. Projected clips accompanied each characters costume. Each clip was a slowed down and made into a seamless loop to create discreet movements, giving the illusion of life to the mannequins. The overall impression was a seemingly interactive experience with the Hollywood characters.
The exhibition was a great success with some fantastic reviews including from The Independent and Vogue. It was also featured by the BBC. For more information please visit the V&A website.
